The first day of Rachel's 4th grade - at the bus stop

Sept 10, 2009
Time flies. Rachel is going to be a 4th grader this year. I still remember the first day of kindergarden I waved her from the bus stop. Hope she enjoys her school and make some new friends.

Play date

Sept 9, 2009 Rachel and her friend Natalie. Natlie is also entering 4th grade as Rachel but goes to different school.

The first day of the middle school - orientation day

Sept 8, 2009 At the bus stop
I can't believe that Alex is going to the middle school. He goes to school early now. The bus comes around 7:30. The environment in the middle school is entirely different than elementary school. It gives kids more freedom and make them take more responsibility. Alex has already showed me how happy he is to be in school everyday. I will continue to pray for him.

Story time

Rachel has created an in-house library. She is the author for all the books. She really is a business person for operating her library with other going on exciting activities. Daddy was reading a baby book for Kylie. The author, of course, is Rachel. Sept 8.

New Jersey Botanical Garden

Aug 30, 2009
The New Jersey State Botanical Garden is a part of Ringwood State Park. The New Jersey State Botanical Garden forms the heartland of a property that Francis Lynde Stetson (1846-1920) assembled from pioneer farmsteads here in the Ramapo Mountains. Stetson named his country estate "Skylands Farms" and maintained a stylish mansion of native granite, a working farm with more than thirty outbuildings, gardens and a vast lawn that also served as a nine-hole golf course. In March 1984, Governor Thomas Kean designated the central 96 acres surrounding the manor house as the State's official botanical garden.

Rachel donated her hair

Aug 25
Rachel donated her hair to "locks of love" organization for kids who need a wig due to disease. The hair dresser did it for free. I am so proud of you.

Kylie and Alex

One day when Alex was holding Kylie, a second grade boy came to Alex and asked "Does your wife just give you a baby?" Does Alex look like a little father of Kylie?
